‘Message from Redwoods Oasis Retreat Space Owners

Redwoods Oasis was created from a simple belief: the spaces we gather in shape how we feel, connect, rest, and remember.

When we first arrived at the property, we didn’t begin with plans or design ideas. We spent time listening to the land itself. Walking through the surrounding Redwood Forest, we realized this was more than a retreat home — it was an opportunity to create a space that truly supports people emotionally, mentally, physically, and energetically.

From that moment forward, every decision was guided by one question:

Does this help people gather well?

Over the years, we’ve welcomed families, friends, and retreat groups from around the world. Through these experiences, we’ve learned that meaningful connection is supported by intentional spaces — places that offer both togetherness and privacy, ease and presence.

Redwoods Oasis was thoughtfully created to hold that experience for every guest who arrives here.

With care,
Darren & Sarah

A Warm Invitation to Journey With Us

We are your hosts and guides, Dhyanjot and Joel—yoga teachers, travelers, and lifelong students yoga and the world. Since 2013, we’ve led groups to sacred and inspiring places across the globe, including India, Greece, Mexico, Thailand, Bali, Peru, the Caribbean, California, Hawaii, and beyond. Each retreat has become a living tapestry woven from exploration, community, and inner transformation.

We invite you to join us on our next adventure—a yoga-integrated journey designed to expand your comfort zone, awaken your curiosity, and immerse you in the beauty and diversity of the world’s cultures. These experiences welcome you to step into nature, meet new parts of yourself, and discover the richness of lands and people whose ways of life may differ from your own.

Everyone is welcome
Whether you are traveling alone or with a partner, whether you are brand new to yoga or have years of practice, our retreats offer something meaningful for every background, ability, and life situation. Many participants join with little to no yoga experience; others arrive seeking to deepen their practice. What unites us is the shared desire to experience travel in a more mindful, conscious, and connected way.

Each retreat is crafted to give you a deep, authentic encounter with the culture, heritage, and natural beauty of the region. Mornings and evenings are held in ritual and community; days unfold into a blend of adventure, cultural immersion, rest, and exploration. From sacred sites to local food, from quiet moments in nature to vibrant community activities, every day opens a new doorway to learn, feel, and grow.

What makes these journeys truly special is the community we create together. Shared meals, yoga practices, conversations, ceremonies, and cultural experiences allow us to learn from one another and deepen our understanding of what it means to be human. As we explore each place, we also explore ourselves—discovering what connects us, honoring what makes us unique, and celebrating the shared humanity that allows us to coexist with more compassion.

We integrate ancient yogic wisdom and shamanic principles into every retreat, helping you connect not only with each other but also with the land, the traditions, and the spirit of the places we visit. These practices remind us that we are part of a larger story—one that spans cultures, generations, and the natural world.

In the end, these journeys become more than vacations. They become opportunities to build lifelong friendships, cultivate community, and reconnect with the collective energy that binds us all. We are not simply tourists—we are explorers of the world, of nature, and of the deeper landscapes within ourselves.

We look forward to traveling with you, supporting you, and sharing another unforgettable adventure. Since 2013, we have walked this path with participants from all over the world, embracing new cultures, spiritual traditions, ways of life, and conscious, eco-friendly exploration. It is an honor to continue this journey—and we hope you will join us for an experience that will be remembered, cherished, and carried in your heart for a lifetime.
